The Pendants

Each pendant in the Sticks & Stones collection incorporates a slice of magical ancient Damson. Hand collected with permission, from a mystical specimen that has stood rooted in the magical Yorkshire earth for over 100 years at the bottom of my garden.

The spirit of Damson encourages us to remain calm and grounded in times of challenge, a powerful natural amulet for the world in which we reside.

Every slice of Damson is paired with an intuitively chosen stone. Each stone holds the grounding energy of Mother Earth, I believe they are one of her most magical gifts. The stones are from my personal collection that I have collected over many years from forest to ocean paths.

Encased in the potent conductor of energy Copper, the grounding energy held within the Sticks & Stones can be more easily transferred to the wearer. Metaphysically Copper is a powerhouse in its own right. In ancient times it was linked to Aphrodite the Goddess of love and used to purify water and heal wounds by the Egyptians.

PENDANT II

Measuring 8.5cm in length and 3.5cm wide. Hung from a 21” antiqued Copper plated curb chain, and hand forged clasp with energetic sacred spiral detailing.

The single damson stick and beautifully smooth, yet angular tactile deep grey stone are held by textured copper, with a unique hand engraved texture to the reverse. Joined by two circles of textured copper wire.

The copper has been oxidised to accentuate the texture this will naturally change when worn. The raised areas may become brighter whilst the textured areas remain dark. I hope you love this change as your amulet adapts to being worn.

The stick and stone are left natural and untreated, this means they will naturally wear when worn. Please ensure you remove before showering, sleeping, or using perfume or hairsprays to prolong the beauty and magic of your new amulet.

All Maven Flux orders are packaged with great love and attention to detail, to make sure you enjoy the process of opening you parcel as much as you'll love the treats inside. I often include a small hand wrapped bundle of herbs, flowers or feathers. If there is anything you could be allergic too, for example: dried lavender, please pop a note to me during the checkout process and I'll be sure to replace it with something else.
