Orbis I Amber Studs

The Orbis I Studs are inspired by my spiritual practice, when I first began working with spirit my guides would show themselves in my journey work as beautiful colourful orbs. This has naturally grown from that initial inspiration into the growing Orbis collection now available.

The studs are approximately 8mm circles formed from Sterling Silver wire that has been hand textured. The process of texturisation is unique to every piece. The texture is then accentuated by the addition of a patina which when polished leaves darker detailing in the deeper crevices. As with each piece in the Orbis Collection I have included granulation details that are made entirely of my scrap silver, these are the orbs that helped to name the collection. I have included a small 3mm juicy amber centrepiece which catches the light and adds a beautiful richness to the studs.

Amber is truly a piece of magic from the trees, fossilised pinetree resin formed millions of years ago, for me Amber holds a beautiful soothing, earthy energy but also has the ability to uplift your mood and add a little spring in your step. That being said everyone's experiences differ in relation to how they feel and perceive energy these are just my thoughts on it that I wanted to share with you. 

The earpins are made from 0.8mm Sterling silver wire and finished off with a small Sterling Silver scroll back.

Please note that the texturisation process is unpredictable and therefore the Orbis I studs that you receive will not be exactly the same as the ones in the images, sisters rather than twins!
